Biography



Trisha is one of the North of England's best-loved broadcasters and is a pivotal figure in the Arts world, particularly in Yorkshire. She is resident host of talks, concerts and discussions at renowned venues such as the Crucible and Lyceum Theatres and City Hall in Sheffield, and the Bridgwater Hall in Manchester.



As a long term BBC broadcaster and producer, Trisha has worked for Radio 2 and Radio 4 and has presented the breakfast show on Radio Sheffield and numerous programmes on Radios Humberside & York.

Her radio & tv career has included producing prestige sports and arts programmes for BBC Network Radio.

Trisha's public appearances have included many major events, from literary festivals and world-class orchestral concerts to intimate 'In Conversation' evenings with many leading authors, playwrights, musicians and dancers.

She is much in demand as facilitator for education programmes across the creative industries and lends the professional touch to workshops and conferences.

She has also appeared on the BBC TV's news magazine 'Look North' and is a respected reviewer of plays, concerts and dance.


Trisha's Charity work has included compering fund-raising events for Rotary Clubs, Royal Sheffield Institute For The Blind, the Arthritis Research Campaign - and she even escorted Pudsey Bear around the region for Children In Need

She has also hosted Carol Concerts and switched on the Christmas Lights in Sheffield and several surrounding towns
