| Welcome Trisha Cooper is one of the best known and most popular female broadcasters in the North of England. Specialising in music, theatre and the arts, she broadcasts regularly for BBC Radio and Television and is the face and voice of the Sheffield International Concert Season. Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra of Moscow Radio is internationally
recognised as one of Russia’s most prestigious and versatile
orchestras. Since 1993, Terje Mikkelsen has worked with them regularly,
and in 2009 he was appointed their Principal Guest Conductor. A master
of the Russian repertoire, Nikolai Demidenko displays his authoritative
style in Prokofiev’s dazzling Third Piano Concerto which was
composed as a vehicle for the composer’s own astonishing genius.
